Touching a Raw Nerve

Earlier this evening I was chatting to an expensive dental surgeon, who works in the M4 corridor area, about the General Election result. He said he was shell-shocked by the result - couldn't believe it had worked out as a hung parliament.

But he also said that he had been talking to clients in the last couple of days since, who described themselves as being typically Conservative voters - but many had voted Labour because they had bought the idea that voting for Gordon meant stability and avoiding a slip into a worse recession.. They are now realising their mistake.

Ouch.
